We visited the winery one morning. It took a bit of effort to get in. The man at the entrance kept radioing back and forth with someone. Finally we were directed through the vineyards to a light gray set of modern cement buildings. We found our way to the tasting room, a bit skeptical. We were able to communicate pretty... More

We had preconceived notions about Mexican wines, and this young winery proved those notions wrong. We didn't do the tour, but after tasting several of the offerings with a healthy plate of meat, cheese, and bread, along with the locally produced olive oil, we left with several bottles to take back to the States to share.

Architecturally interesting buildings, knowledgeable guides and well done tasting menu. Can't wait till their olive oil is ready for production (this fall I believe!)

Sober and small infrastructure but well planned that serves small groups under reservations. Friendly staff. We went early Monday and didn't have a chance of the whole tour since they're closed that day. We liked what we saw.

We wanted to find a winery to tour as we hadn't been to one in Mexico before. It was a little difficult to find the tour but there is a store in old town that we eventually booked the dinner through. And we were glad we were persistent. We have been to many around the world and this dinner rated... More

We were on a tour which stopped at Cuna de Tierra and that was the best part of the trip! The tour was very thorough and informative, Cynthia is very knowledgable and eager to share the story of Cuna de Tierra. Then we enjoyed a 3 hour tasting with the most delicious appetizers of local cheeses, meats and homemade bread... More

My friend saw this vineyard featured on Pati's Mexican Table on PBS; we found their office in SMA and booked a tour which included a tasting of 5 wines accompanied by some tapas. The tour was very informative and given in both Spanish and English. We were driven through the vineyard in a tractor-drawn, sheltered cart. We stopped to climb... More
