- A S6 contributionsBackgammon in the VineyardEverything was lovely! Kristen, the current owner, shared a historical rundown of how Lechuza came to be. She's knowledgeable and has a great staff. My daughter and I enjoyed a few hours a Lechuza tasting wine, playing with Canto and Pluma (their new rescue pups). The seating arrangement is in the middle of the vineyard and it was peaceful and serene. We loved our morning adventure to Lechuza and highly recommend.Visited September 2023Travelled with familyWritten 3 October 2023
- Katie MSarasota, Florida35 contributionsPoetry and Wine for the WinWe went here as our first winery of the day as a group of girlfriends from La and it was our favorite experience ! So friendly and everything was explained so beautifully. It was like listening to poetry hearing Armando explain each wine like a different strong lady. They even foster animals here and we were able to play with new kitties ! Will 100% be back ! Highly recommend all the wines as well, especially Canto.Visited October 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 22 October 2023

To think we were going to leave the Valle without checking Lechuza seems ridiculous now. Good thing we stopped off. Armando our wine steward for the afternoon loves what he does and shares that love with whoever walks through the doors of lechuza. The wines were by far my favorite of the trip. Left the experience with one of everything offered.
If you head to Valle de Guadalupe you must try Lechuza. When you go ask for Armando you won’t be sorry.

Best wine we've ever had! This is right off the highway, but you wouldn't know it being in their courtyard. It's more like being in their front yard than a fancy winery which makes it all the more charming. We only drink red wines so were a little disappointed they only had one. We had a tasty sandwich from the food truck. There's also a little gift shop with apparel, aprons and wine items. We paid and were going to leave and the server came up to us and said, "you like reds, right? Wait ... you need to try this!" He came over and gave us a glass of the best cab from a limited vintage. Wow what a find! Ask for his list of recommendations which he has printed by the cash register.

Most amazing wine I have had in Mexico, top 10 of the american continent.
This little place is a true romantic and heartfelt winery. I have had the pleasure of visiting wineries all over the world. This one is a MUST! It’s not the greatest view but it is the greatest wine!
The service is amazing and they truly are in love with their product! No bluff just amazing wine!

The menu had only 4 wines and 3 of them were either white or rosé, but they were all DELICIOUS. Each wine has its own personality and unique flavor. I can’t rate this any higher. Our server, Armando, was excellent and I recommend this place to every lover of wine.

What a lovely winery! It's right off one of the main roads, but it feels like a sanctuary. The wine is fantastic, but more importantly, the staff is so great! Armando was especially kind and helpful. I want to hire him to show me around -- he knows all the tricks! I can't recommend Lechuza more highly!

The wines were all delicious and Armando was absolutely fabulous. We have visited many wineries all over the world and Armando taught us things we never knew and his down to earth approach will make even new wine drinkers feel at home- no wine snobbery here, just fantastic wine and a wonderful host. You won’t regret your visit!

Great place for tasting some lovely Mexican wines. The desert vegetation and friendly dogs add to the ambiance.
An onsite taco truck ensures that you don’t have to look elsewhere for food. Tacos were excellent; who knew a vegetarian taco could contain cauliflower?
One caveat: Expect to see Napa Valley prices! The tasting is $20 each, and two taco plates set us back $20.

Wine is very tasty and of high quality. The place is not your typical winery, instead is a home off the main road. They only take reservations. The hosts are a lovely American couple that have a wealth of knowledge about wine and other local info. The Merlot was a pleasant surprise. Very tasty. Overall, highly recommended. I only gave it 4 stars because once they set up their kitchen in affiliation with Laja Restaurant, this will be a major success. Keep it up Adam. And go Cowboys...

Hello, I made a reservation through open table, but I’m not sure if this is the way to reserve a wine tasting or if we need to contact the winery directly?
