This is the location of the remnants of Lucy's Cavendish' home. It is pretty much a hole in the ground with a gift shop. They do have some artifacts from the post office where she worked with her grandparents in the shop on display. There...More

Loved the quotes scattered about the property. Loved that the location of the house wasn't idealized or made to be more than it was. The stone celler honoured the place.

Such a well preserved site in honor of L.M. Montgomery. Wonderful to visit the actual footprint of the house where she lived. Beautiful grounds and peaceful.

This section of the park is administered privately by Mrs Montgomery's family. Nice park and apple trees where she wrote next to the original house. Site is located across street from cemetery and Haunted Forest.

Ample parking as soon as you arrive. Great to see that history and culture is preserved on the Island. Visit the house, walking trails and grounds and don't forget to stop by the new gift shop. Great for large groups, for couples or families.

U must wear comfy shoes and be able to walk for 1 or 2 km. The trail is maintained by Canada Parks as a Historic sight so u pay a fee to get in. Rally gorgeous natural views of the Pei red earth.

She lived in a few different places on the island and with different family members. One house is still kept up and it's still within their family I believe. The other one, all that remains is the cellar. But the grounds are... More
