We are extremely lucky to have this museum in Hamilton. History stands still here because countless volunteers don't. I could write volumes about this place, but I'll just suggest that if you visit, you will come away knowing you have opened a new chapter in your personal history book. It's not just about airplanes, but more about why we live... More

I like museums in general. Hundreds and thousands of warplanes were built in World War II and very few survive. Here you see and touch the actual planes that were a part of history, and that you see in movies and documentaries. There are biplanes, a Submarine Spitfire, and a repica Hurricanes. Sptifires and Hurricanes won the Battle of Britain... More

My children are both teenagers and they enjoy looking at the airplanes and talking to the Veterans. It is a humbling experience and educational

We took a relative who was visiting from California to see our great treasure The Warplane Heritage in Mount Hope . He was so excited he took over 500 pictures. It was the best time ever a must see.

In the first room there is a lot of interesting historical information on Canada's involvement in WWW 2. In the hangar were many planes with information. Some you were able to sit in. Those with children might enjoy the less stressful environment in the hangar The volunteer guide was very helpful with extra stories about individual planes and the museum... More

Best 60th birthday present for anyone! If you are unsure about flying, you can watch the flights or view all the planes in the museum. You can talk to the pilots and get the history behind all the planes located there. You can also see one of the two remaining Lancaster bombers that fly.
