Great for Picnics

Every year I attend a family picnic here. The grounds are clean and well kept and includes campground I have yet to try. Nice areas for short hikes.

This place used to be great for family outings. But now they have absolutely killed it by drying up the big lake side of the park. Now, there is this little water body left. Its dirty, and filthy and always crowded. The park authority needs to better manage this park.

It's all about nature. The outside movie thing is amazing where you can sit in your car and watch the movie with your family. I loved the location, beach and beach games. Had a birthday celebration there. It was fun family times. Will visit again for sure.

If you love to hike for exercise, the trails here will not be boring and the views from up top will make the climb well worth the effort.

Did a hike along the Bruce Trail here which I enjoyed but my visit really was spoiled because the highway was so close by. There are so many other places where you can get away from the noise of traffic so I won't make an effort to come back to Kelso any time soon. If the sound doesn't bother you,... More

A great place for camping in summer and hiking in the fall. Ideal for a family walk to see the fall leaves.

It looks stunning from the highway. Finally went to see it. The noise from the 401 is too loud. The escarpment and the trees changing colour are beautiful. In the summer there are many small leisure craft in the water, picturesque. Nice rest spot off the hiway. From this park you can go to many other pretty and rugged areas.

This park is close to our house and there are lot of activities for family with young kids. It has very good walking treks under shade and it is scenic. If you want to climb small mountains then you can do that on the mountains used in winter for skiing.

We went there a couple years ago. We really enjoyed our visit. Even though I dont have a model train hobby. My husband and daughter really loves trains. I still enjoyed the history of the railway and the kind of locomotives and cars used . I recommend a trip to this museum. There is a piece of history for every... More
