This course is good because it provides exactly what you pay for--no pretenses.

We go here because it's inexpensive, close, and yep, a bit rough around the edges but for $35 for two people to play 18 holes including a before-round bucket of balls, why do people complain? I've read some rude and unkind reviews about Quarry Lakes and about Bill. All uncalled for and unfair. But here's the thing. Yes, it's a... More

For the money, there are other courses in the area which are better kept. We took our 6 year old son for the day, paid 18 but he couldn't make the second nine. The manager was very gracious and gave us a pass for a free 9 in the future. Excellent service!

bill is a old fat chunky rude manger who nobody likes and kicks kids off the course because they were just playing normal golf

Came on a cloudy over cast day to help some nearby friends learn how to golf. After 9/18 holes the manager continually verbally harassed us until we left. We tried to get a refund for the last 9 holes, but we're denied. Not the place for people learning to golf.

Management is terrible. The course is in the worst shape of all the courses in Durham Region. The course is full of holes and there is almost no grass on fairways and tee boxes. You would be better off to play in your backyard.

After playing 17 of our 18 holes, we were forced to leave by the manager, who verbally insulted us, and cursed at us until we left his property. (All over a misunderstanding about where the 'green' began) I have heard many complaints about this 'manager' not only yelling at his customers, but his employees as well. I would not suggest... Golf course is ok, just average. Greens seem on the dry side. Great deal on Friday nights for couples. No food per se, just snacks. Parking can be a little challenging. Walking this course is a bit of a challenge so go for a cart. Great driving range.

Course itself is OK, however management has been very good to us here. We have run tournaments out of here a few times and they have always done a very good job.

Staff are obsessed about golfers wearing a collar, yet there is a dumpy old abandoned RV beside the clubhouse and the place is an absolute mess. I told the cashier my son had a collar, but she made him come in so she could personally verify. Then she made him wait five mins before she would look at him. No... More
