It is both a fabulous old Victorian historical home and a funky, eclectic museum of medicine. Do check it out.

I come here often to walk in the back as I live in the neighbourhood. I have been inside and it is a wonderful period house. It also has the Koffler medical museum inside as well. A good place to take the family.

If you are a history buff this a well maintained Museum. Knowledgeable tour guides. Very interesting displays. I had seen some interesting Military photos in a closet the Young Lady (tour guide) took the time to take them out of the closet to show me

What a lovely place to pop in for a visit. An historic house with it's history written out for you. I visited during the Pan Am games and spent a lovely afternoon In the garden watching a tennis match with the Gold and Silver medalists.

Hillary House is an icon in Aurora for the Historical Society, and rightly so. There are so few historical homes in Canada that still have the original furnishings intact, and this is one of them. It is truly a treasure. The guides are able to give many details about objects and life in these times.

Hillary House is a wonderful step back in time to the home of a resident Doctor and family from Aurora, Ontario. Interesting medical artifacts from over 100 years ago, plus period furniture through out the home, make the adventure enjoyable for all ages. The grounds and garden are wonderful to stroll through, and many times of the year, various festivals... More

This Victorian gem is a former doctors house owned and maintained/staffed by the Aurora Historical Society. The house has beautiful , whimsical gingerbread on the outside and looks like a real gingerbread house after a snowfall on a sunny day. The interior of the house is restored/maintained much as it was when the family lived there. They have events throughout... More
