I played the Highland Links golf course in July in good weather. I was fortunate to be paired with a local man and his mother who made the day most enjoyable. The course is in good condition and winds through the forest with some views of the ocean. The course is certainly not crowded, probably due to its location some... More

Highlands Links had been our list of courses to play for quite some time, so when we planned our trip to the Maritimes it definitely made it onto the itinerary. It was unusually windy the day we played so that made it very difficult, especially out on the first few holes. The course itself is magnificent. The land is left... More

Spectacular course with well manicured greens and challenging fairways. The course has plenty of elevation changes and waterways to avoid. The mountains offer a breathtaking backdrop on a number of holes. One of if not our favourite course in Cape Breton! We will return again soon.

Very friendly staff and beautiful views and scenery. Lots of hills and valleys makes the course very interesting. Definitely a must-play golf course

I admit this was my first time golfing, but I loved it. We went at the very end of the day and had the place to ourselves and it was spectacular. While you are here you will pinch yourself to check that you're not dreaming.

It was a great coarse to play. Well maintained with some nice scenery. It was busy but play moved. The club house is not very nice, but the coarse was challenging but fair. Fairways were uneven, green where challenging. Staff was not overly friendly or helpful.

This island in general is a joke ...every restaurant chooses it's hours so does this place call ahead and see if they had a shower this morning to determine if your day will be pleasant ... Ingonish is NOT where you land to have a good time it's a gas station at best ...

Difficult to walk , better ride . Unfortunately the time of play is very long it took us 5hrs.30 mins. to play which is too... More

A great place to golf while taking in some of the best views in Canada. The fairways and greens are in great shape and the well know course design continues to please.

Highlands Links is a great golf course in a great location. Played there three weeks ago and the condition was at least 8 of 10. The scenery and layout is 10 of 10. I recommend that all play this course, especially if you've made the trip to Cabot Links.
