Yes indeed they are. We use tandem kayaks and the adult sits in the back with the child in front. You will both have paddles :-) cheers-Angelo

Indeed we can take your mom as long as she is decent shape. We would suggest a tandem kayak for her and also recommend that she does a Paddledog Kayak Tours trip which is our second kayak business based in Baddeck.
