Where else can you handle whale baleen? The whole place is packed with fascinating items and memorabilia relevant to the area. Ben is a great local character.... More

Driving through the sign caught my attention. It is a one-room museum, but everything in it was fascinating. It has a whale skeleton which gives a good idea of the immensity of this beautiful creature. Bu the side is a small art gallery with really extraordinary art.

This museum is next to and run by artist Ben J Ploughman. The museum is interesting but make sure you look at his artwork and listen to some of his stories behind them.

Don't miss the chance to stop by and see the incredible artwork of artist Ben Ploughman at The Museum of Whales and Things, located along the main road in Port au Choix. Ben is a very talented artist, with an excellent sense of humour!
