Excellent trip for all skill levels! Lots of wildlife.

We did the Explorer Half Day tour (about 3 hours) in the afternoon (myself, a 14 yr old and a 17 yr old). Weather was perfect for kayaking - warm and flat calm. Weather can be unpredictable though as the previous 2 days were fogged in and rainy. Ryan was an excellent guide - he catered to those that needed... More

While we did kayak not much else happened. Our guide, if you can call him that, didn't know much about the area, geography, fishing etc. Example is that we "explored" Seal Cove Inlet, but guide stated categorically it is "not fed by a stream" and is "completely dry" at low tide. The stream is clearly visible from the bridge which... More

This was my big adventure of our recent vacation, and I had a blast (and got very wet.) Adventure High advertises that beginners are welcome, and I am happy to say that almost everyone in our little group fell into that category. Our guide was informative and attentive both to the rich natural history of the bay and to the... More

We did the half day kayak excursion, with Ryan as our guide. As beginners, we were a little nervous, but Ryan put us at ease, with his instructions. The excursion was 3 hours long. We explored coves, and got an amazing view of the cliffs. it was foggy that morning, but we enjoyed the outing anyway.

We really enjoyed our afternoon kayaking with Ryan and Braden our kayak guides. We are beginner paddlers ourselves and we were given a good introduction to paddling techniques and safety measures. We went along the coast line of grand Manan and explored various coves, fishing nets, and The Hole in the Wall. As we were paddling along, about 40 metres... More

Was in a rather large group on a windy day. Felt it was too many . Asked for a two person boat but was given a one. I was inexperienced so the green kayak was difficult for me (too narrow). I felt that I always had to catch up to the group. Hope owners listen better to the needs of... More

I recently went to Grand Manan (last week of July 2016) to experience some kayaking. I had originally booked a week long kayak trip in another location that was cancelled by the outfitter at the last minute - so I was left with no activities for my planned vacation. I made contact with Adventure High on Grand Manan to see... More

Benefited from exceptional great weather. The water was calm, the sun was shining and there was no wind during our kayak tour. Ryan our guide was great and gave a small workshop before we started our tour. We did a 3 hour morning tour and saw seals and whales! Bring binoculars if you would like to get a better view... More

When my husband and I got married two years ago, we booked a full day kayaking tour with former Adventure High guides Scotty and Sarah in Cape LaHave, NS. We decided then that we'd go kayaking every year for our anniversaries. Last year was in beautiful Tofino and this year was at Canada's oldest kayaking outfitters, Adventure High! Every time... My husband and I decided to visit Grand Manan for the long weekend and really enjoyed seeing the whales, seals, and porpoises during our hikes along the coast. I had always wanted to try sea kayaking and we thought it would be fun to see the animals from the water, so when we found out about the 2 hour evening... More
