We visited the park in early October 2017 and the crowds were small. We toured the Roosevelt “cottage “ and it almost feels as if Eleanor only recently left, though it’s been a longtime. This is an amazing part of our American history and worth...More

The park was lovely and the grounds beautiful. Flowers in bloom everywhere. The history of the park and the buildings were the best parts. Especially the Tea with Eleanor. Get there early for free tickets to the tea.

Learned a lot about FDR. Free admission as well. Take the "Fun" tour...you get to go behind the ropes for a more in depth experience.

awesome photography opportunity, there is a fee to hike down and it is not suitable for people with mobility issues. But worth the hike.

This is must do if you find yourself on Campobello Island. hike over to the Island is very pretty and rugged. There are a couple of ladders (with rails) you must climb.

The best advice is to bring a jacket or a sweater no matter the time of year. Our waters are cold and when the wind shifts the temp can really drop.

Take tea with Eleanor and tour the houses. Total 4 hours. You can spend more time walking if you wish. If you take tea, do the paid tour not the free one. Much better.
