Join us aboard the "Mister Matthew" as we search the coastal waters of the Bay of Fundy for Minke, Finback, Humpback and Northern Right Whales. We will also look for eagles, seals, harbour porpoises, puffins and various other marine life as we cruise throughout the many small islands along the way. Experience the famous Bay of Fundy tides. Departs from Head Harbour wharf on Campobello Island.

We traveled to this area near the end of the season. A whale watch tour company in Lubec told us the whales had already migrated..but Island Cruises on Campobello had a full boat and took us to an area where we saw both fin backs and humpbacks. A male and female fin back were chasing each other and both of... More

It will be hard to top our first whale watching trip. The day was beautiful. There were a lot of bald eagles and seals around the islands. It was a short trip to where we saw the first whales. Numerous dolphins were also feeding in the same area. These guys understood how the whales behave and were able to get... More

My husband and I both found the whale watch excursion with Island Cruises a totally enjoyable experience. Sign up for the cruise at Wilson's Beach ticket office was easily accessible and the staff engaging and helpful. Captain Mac and Robert who greeted us with fellow passengers at the Harbour Head wharf were very open and friendly. The boat is a... More

I have been Whale watching for about 12 years and each time it's been on a different ship but I'll be sticking with this one for awhile. My mobility challenged father and my 2 small children had a wonderful time. We watched a humpback whale nap until he woke up and showed us a good dive. We saw lots of... More

My wife and I went on this based on some of the reviews and a couple that stayed at our B&B went with them under good reviews. We went and basically saw partial of two whales. Not the guide or cruise service fault but blame it on the weather and timing, Guide was genuinely surprised at the lack of sightings.

this was an excellent experience. We were guaranteed we would see whales, and sure enough, we saw a lot of Minke and Finbacks, along with two types of seals, dolphins and a Bald Eagle. The day was beautiful and the 2 1/2 hours just flew by. Our captain had spent many hours in the morning on a whale rescue, but... More

I was on a trip with them yesterday and I absolutely loved it. On top taking people to see whales they also saved them which really speaks to me. They are very passionate about what they do and get as excited as us when we see whales. I will go definitely go back! Thank you Captain and Robert for an... More

Our family (children aged 7, 5, and 3) sailed with Island Cruises this morning. It was outstanding! We saw a finback whale, harbor seals, bald eagles, and a variety of other sea birds. Capt. Mackie was very informative and explained everything we saw. This strip was reasonably priced. I would highly recommend Island Cruises to anyone!

I lived on Campobello Island, NB my whole life and have known everyone there as well. Small community which makes a huge family! Mac Greene the Captain will find the whales.
