Compared to whistler, it is not busy and cheaper than WHislter, there is a lot of snow, and it is better to learn because there are not too many people.

Lifts were poor, considering the type of snowy weather we experienced. The best lift (for the very snowy (and rainy) weather) was a covered chairlift, where the screen was soon blocked by snow, thereby blocking the view for preparing to get off at the top....More

Mountains were great! Lots of terrain. Pretty foggy in the spring but reasonable and surrounded by lots of nice people working in the village and on the mountain.

4 hr 46 mins from whistler to sun peaks and about 5 hrs and 33 mins from seattle to sun peaks.
I am in the market for new high performance skis Can I demo a few while I am there and purchase them? Can the rental cost be applied o the selling price? Thanks:) Christine

Hi Mike, Kamloops is the easiest to transit to/from. Kelowna is also possible, there are shuttle services from both, just check the timing. I did Kelowna - Sun Peaks last year because I had to book flights first, and... More
