The butterflies were within their cocoons and starting to hatch and it was quite delightful to sit there and watch them come out and then stretch their wings. Mother Nature at its best ! Lots of butterflies flying around and even though it was a...More

We love butterfly world!! The new owner is fantastic and is doing a great job of bringing this place back to life! There have been challenges with a business like this, (no doubt!) but they're really taking it seriously. We visit every time we're on...More

The butterflies are the definite attraction here. It is fabulous having them fly all around you while you walk through the interior garden. Sometimes they even land on you, especially if you are wearing bright colours and standing still. It is a tropical environment, so...More

It was $20 for an adult and 4 year old, and we saw everything in 1 hour. There are no frogs in the frog pond, and the orchard garden is nothing but plants that we could have see in a nursery. There was one person...More

Clearly, this attraction is trying. However, the price is in line with a top-notch spot. This is not that. There are butterflies to see and some of the tropical plants are gorgeous. Overall, the place needs maintenance. If you are on a budget, you might...More

I took my grandkids here for a visit. We enjoyed all the different butterflies. The orchid room was beautiful as well. The kids loved the tortoise Samson. There is also a turtle pond outside with many turtles

Butterfly World at Coombs, BC is quaint and small. It needs some maintenance and work to improve its grounds but it was still fun to visit. My cost was $11 as a senior. The butterfly room was understandably warm. It was a small area may...More

I am an Islander and have always drove past here on my way to Coombs Market. I stopped with the kids to explore this as per their begging and sadly we were all disappointed in the experience. First off, we arrived two hours before they...More
