We went here with the family while camping nearby. It is a great place for a soak. The kids loved jumping in the freezing creek water before going through the cave. Lol. Super cool and a great way to relieve those sore muscles.

A slight detour from Nelson on the way home, well worth it. We had a great experience. A typical fall afternoon? A mixture of sun, clouds and occasional rain on our faces as we soaked beneath the sky in Ainsworth Natural Hot springs. Located on...More

OK pool, seems crowded on the weekend day we were there. Fun for kids probably. I wouldn't make a special trip but if you are passing through and want to have a hot spring experience go for it. The place was clean

Very nice hot spring in a resort. Large pool that runs between 96-100 degrees F, and then the cave, which is a horseshoe shaped formation that you wade through. It runs around 104-110 degrees and is very steamy inside. You can see the mineral deposits,...More

New management has messed up a great resort. I have been travelling to Ainsworth hot springs since the 1970s Used to be a great place to get away and relax. Understaffed!!! What staff are there are stressed out. Poorly managed Not recommended any longer

It is unfortunate that a recently terminated employee would seek to discredit this property and it's great employees through this means. I would urge all readers to look at our other reviews before forming an opinion on this one.

Hi. The least busy time is definitely 8:00 to 10:00 when the pools are open to hotel guests only. Next best is 10:00 when we first open to the public. That said, summer and all holidays are almost always busy while... More
