Having visited Nakusp, halfway, and halcyon hot springs before hitting ainsworth on this visit, I have to say it is far and away the busiest and most crowded. While it detracts a bit from the experience, it is still always enjoyable. All 8 of us...More

Every time I'm in the Nelson area I always stop at the Ainsworth Hotsprings. They have three different pools to choose from. One large warm pool where you can enjoy the mountain views (with built in pool seating along the pool edge), one small cold...More

Love 💜💜💜💜 this place! The rooms are nice and updated. We stayed on the main floor which has outside doors only with parking right out front. The bathtub is huge! I loved the bathrobes for walking to the lobby & up the elevator to the...More

As a new involved couple, the atmosphere is romantic, engagine, relaxing, sensual and the water is rejuvenating. The hot pools, then the cold water plunge, then hot pools, cold water plunge opens the body mind and spirit. My skin feels soft...loved every second of this...More

Large outdoor pool, plus cold pool, but you really go for the cave. It's a mix of hot spring and sauna, dimly lit for ambiance, so you probably can't stay in there too long. Take the cold plunge afterwards for a real shock. Great view...More

We were in the area and decided a nice soak after caving would be in order. However, arriving mid-afternoon, the pools were very crowded, and we decided to return in the morning. Good decision! Very few people made for a relaxing visit. The cave (man-made)...More

We had a long driving day and thought it would nice to stop here to relax before we carried on. Pretty good overall. A bit dated but the Cave to walk through was great. Great views while chillin out in the pool.

Went there on a hot July day and found the pool fairly small and crowded. Whole place could use an upgrade in my opinion. Seems pretty dated. The cave is pretty unique I guess but I’m claustrophobic so not my thing.

Hi. The least busy time is definitely 8:00 to 10:00 when the pools are open to hotel guests only. Next best is 10:00 when we first open to the public. That said, summer and all holidays are almost always busy while... More
