This is a relatively unique sort of museum. It's interesting for the whole family--especially if you bring members of a senior generation to share their experiences with the children. It's fun for kids to see transportation from the "olden days", but adults enjoy it too....More

the hundreds of carriages (three surries with "fringes on top") and sleighs to read about. Excellent displays! The interactive Horse University was great! Its a museum full of carriages. If that's your thing then go for it. Personally I think The Simpson's described it best as one of the most boring family vacation spots.
