Park was awesome. So many cool parts; we didn’t have time to see them all. Cool for any age - even babies had a section to themselves. Stayed two nights for the sole purpose of hanging by the water park all day. That’s impossible. The level of chloramines in the air were completely overwhelming. After one hour, our eyes were burning and we were coughing so bad we had to get out. Horrible air quality, couldn’t breathe and had to leave. CanadInn managers, if you’re reading this - chloramines are poisonous fumes that are created when incorrect levels of chlorine mix with human sweat. You need air ventilation to get those fumes out and problems arise when it’s winter and the air exchange gets shut off to conserve heat. I’ll admit it’s wonderfully nice and warm in the water park but I’d much rather have the air ventilation system on and be able to breathe. We’re still recovering to be honest. Wishing we had just booked a hotel with a regular pool...

This was one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at in Grand Forks. Everyone from Sarah the receptionist that greeted us with a warm smile and great service, to the cleanliness of the hotel, to the food at the restaurants. It was a pleasure! Always something to do from the water park, to the bar/casino it was a blast. And my daughter with special needs has so much fun at the water park and Sarah even spent time with her. It was wonderful, she loved it. I highly recommended this hotel for a night or even 4 you will not be disappointed.

We had two birthday parties for grandkids within a month recently. What a wonderful experience. Rented a cabana both times with birthday party package. Wonderful experience. Children very happy with the water park. Food was great and precisely on time. Lifeguards as well. Highly recommended.

What an amazing experience! We went with our 5 year old daughter and we all had a great family time. The Waterpark has several different pools and slides for all ages. This was one of the best indoor Waterpark we’ve been to.

I stopped in here on New Years Day with out kids to give them a treat before heading back to Winnipeg. It looked great from the outside, lots of tubes, basketballs in the water, big slides and not to busy.

We walked in the the changeroom to find a stall with no door on it and weren't share where we could use facilities if we needed to. Who wants to see a 40y old guy on the crapper? I could be wrong, but did I see $12 for a locker and they wouldn't even fit my jacket, let alone three of our personal belongings.

Some bullet points about the issues we had:

- Tubes were pretty much all flat and no one was re-filling them
- Basketballs were all flat and when I asked the lifeguard if she knew where to get them filled she looked upset that I was asking and told me to go ask in the canteen. Here's a thought, get off your lazy butt and go ask for me as it's your job, no mine. I went to ask and they said "no". So there are three basketballs in the hoop area and they all suck.
- No towels were given to us on the way in, so I had to ask a patron where they go there's
- About 1/2 or more of the squirter and interactive features on the double waterslide were Out of Order, that's lots of fun.
- 1/2 the people didn't have wristbands and I overhead people saying "we don't pay, they never ask or look".
- kids that were barely a foot tall were going down with their parents on the tubes which is fine, but then don't post that you have to be a certain height and one person per tube.
- Stairs up the the tube slide were gross. Falling apart, pieces all over the place, rotten wood exposed and having to walk on it.

One of the biggest issues was the chlorine. I have never had irritation from a public pool, city pool, waterpark or hotel pool...but My arms, legs and chest (as well as my kids) all look like we have been in the sun without sunscreen in Florida for a week. When we walked in to the hot tub, it felts like my legs were on fire.

The place is a mess, the staff were useless and too many things broken down or out of order.

So we decided to travel to splasher's today as it seemed like a nice place to take take the family.
From the moment we arrived, there was no direction as to where to go and place your belongings, towel offerings, etc.
Most of the people who were using the facility had their belongings with them.
We decided to place our personal belongings into the lockers which cost $2 with a $10 deposit.
After using the facility for not even an hour, we decided to leave as the chlorine in the air was almost overwhelming and burning the eyes.
When my fiance went to the locker to gather our belongings, she found that the locker was already broken into. Her purse was on a bench and there were some young girls in the room laughing.
Luckily she got there in time to ensure our wallets and passports were not taken.
Unfortunately her phone was stolen.
Not much the staff could do aside from taking a report.
Not great first impression of this place. I don't think we will frequent this place again.
As a tip for those who do decide to go; please don't put your belongings in the lockers as they are not safe there.

First let me say that my kids had a blast at Splasher's 8/17/14. We were there for a birthday party and they loved every second of it. Unfortunately, there were several things that, as a parent, I could not help but notice. I cannot believe how badly this place has gone into disrepair. It hasn't even been open all that long! The women's bathroom had one soap dispenser knocked off the wall and laying on the counter, the other was pretty much empty. The paper towel dispenser was cracked and broken. The floors in the bathroom had standing water on them and there was not a dry place to set our stuff down. There was a teeter totter in the kiddie pool area that literally had caution tape wrapped all over it (which children were still playing on even though it was clearly not safe to do so). There disgusting band aids laying randomly around the park. I literally have never seen so much gum stuck to so many surfaces throughout the park. The paint was peeling ALL OVER the walls. The floor (EVERYWHERE) was so dirty. There was mud caked in every nook and cranny in every part of the floor. It really looks as though it is rarely cleaned or repaired. I just was so sad to see how gross this place has become, and it is such a cool place! It wasn't always this way. So many awesome features that my kids just love and I think are so awesome too. However, it is so dirty and gross and not taken care of that I doubt I'll bring my kids again. It makes me mad to spend $16 a person and then feel weird about letting my kids get in the water because of how gross it is. I would really love to see Splasher's take a little pride in maintaining what should be an awesome attraction in Grand Forks!

I had never had such a disrespectful and poor service in the hotel.
We have ordered Birthday Party, which should be special, it is a Birthday after all... Not only i needed to remind the restaurant about the pizza order, but the pizzas arrived dry and half cold. In addition we ordered veggie tray, which included prob 6 slices of carrots and couple of celery. After couple of hours i needed to go and remind regarding the cupcakes as well.
Not only we didn't received any Birthday Sign, as promised, for a birthday boy, but no napkins, no cups, no soda, no plates, which all was included into the package, did not reached to our table.
After trying to connect with the management for 14 days!!!!!!... no response at all.

I would think twice, before coming back to that pool.

Were there Dec 31st and Jan 1st for New Years get away with kids. Very disappointed in the water park. Rate for admission is pricey especially when their were no towels, tubes were flat and the dome was cold; we froze when coming out of the water. I asked one of the life guards about the tubes being flat ( I counted at least 15 flat on the side) and asked about filling them, she responded that they fill these on their breaks however, for the hours I was there I did not witness any being filled. Without the tubes my daughter and I couldn't go in the lazy river or down the slide. Their were no towels for us to use. Small kiddy area was nice but their were parts broken or not working. I did not use the lockers or bathrooms in the water park because we had hotel room at the Canada Inn. I will probably not return to this water park, unless desperate for kids.

we went at this waterpark during Canada's civic holiday and it turned out to be the perfect time as it's not that crowded. great time for families. they accept canadian money for locker. lifeguards are very keen observers, always on the lookout which is really good. kinda gave us a peace of mind knowing that someone is there to keep everything in order. there's a place for everyone in the family. my husband and i checked out the hot tub, my teen son enjoyed the pool playing basketball, my pre-teen daughter enjoyed the lazy river and of course, my youngest son enjoyed the pool play area. you can't get hungry as you can order pizzas and stuff from the restaurant. we will be back for sure.
