We read about the museum in travel literature before our visit. The museum was really several things in one; a display of dinosaur fossils, a display of various rocks and fossils, and a display of Dickinson history. It was all very well done in a clean uncrowded room. Each display had clear and complete signage. It is not a huge... More

This is a great place to go for family fun. The museum and staff are wonderful. The exhibits are great and they keep my daughters attention. We just attended a free community even there, my daughter won't stop talking about it! Her favorite parts were the TRex scull and the Triceratops scull.

For the size of it( not too big) there are a lot of artifacts. A very nice display. Employees were very nice and knowledgeable. Will definitely be going again!

Great museum to take the Kids! Fun and informational. They loved the dark room with the rocks and the black lights

Visiting family and had no idea what to do with my time. Was surprised at all this place has to offer. For the price of one ticket, we got access to three buildings and a tour of a one-room schoolhouse, an old church and other great buildings that were so great.

This museum is very cute. Very small though than expected. This would be great for families with small children or older couples.

On a long road trip with small children we decided to stop in an check out the dinosaurs which are huge with the kids. This was a great stop. Upon entering we met the curator who gave us introductions and walked us into the main hall. We got to see a very nice exhibit which was surprising given the buildings... More

This museum was much smaller than I had expected but the size can fool you. I am sure I spent a good hour looking around and reading about the various rocks, minerals and gems. They have a small play area for kids and a few hands on exhibits for young and old alike. They have a small gift shop as well... More

The city of Dickinson bought the dinosaur museum last year & combined the names with the Dickinson heritage museum. $6 adult admissions gets you inside both. I only went to the heritage museum since I did the dinosaur museum 2 years ago. They are currently making permanent features instead of rotating the collection. They are doing the sections a decade... More
