We should all take your advice and remember to spend time exploring both. The grounds of Reynolda are just as much a part of the experience as the Museum. Thanks for taking time to review your experience. More

If you see only one attraction in Winston-Salem this must be the place to visit. Reynolda House is the country estate of the Reynolds family from 1924. The estate reminds me of the Downton Abby of North Carolina or Biltmore on a smaller, more intimidate scale. The home is a museum with beautiful collection of American art. We though we... More

How lucky we are to have this wonderful museum here in Winston-Salem! The house is beautiful and a very accurate reflection of a by-gone age. The art and furnishings are lovely, but what I like best are the special exhibits in the art gallery. Reynolda House is able to attract in-demand exhibitions and present them with a fresh perspective on... More

I will attempt to put the most positive spin on this letter that I can. Myself and my two daughters (10 & 8 yrs old) visited the Reynolda House today. We had been looking forward to this trip for weeks. When we entered, the first representative we were greeted by was Connie Docent who was absolutely phenomenal. She is the... More

With an ever changing Art gallery this attraction constitutes to be relevant to locals each year. The gardens are an awesome sight most times of year, however they have become quite strict about taking photographs...which is a shame. The home tour is well worth the time and money. The long and reaching history of the Reynolds family is very interesting... More

Reynolda House is nestled in the lovely Buena Vista neighborhood. There are plenty of things to do inside and outside this historic home that once belonged to R.J. Reynolds and family. Tour the home with an audio guided tape and see everything from the fabulous organ to the fun shooting range and pool in the lower level. Make sure you... More

Reynolda House is a true gem in Winston-Salem. It is a wonderful example of our history through the efforts of Katharine Reynolds. Her beautiful home and grounds have been turned into shops, restored gardens and then the finest piece is her house which is a fantastic art museum. The house was carefully restored as close to it's original splendor as... More

Beautiful restored house that contains excellent art. History of the estate is preserved to see back in time. Walking paths and nearby restaurants make for a self paced adventure.

I had heard about Reynolda for many years and finally got an opportunity to visit. It does not disappoint. The home is lovely, and I am so happy that they provide acoustaguides, so one can go at his own pace. No following a volunteer guide who has memorized some notes here. Attached to the house is a modern building with... More
