My friends and I heard about this wonderful tour from a friend who raved about it. Now I see why she did. We did the afternoon/ early evening tour on a beautiful Saturday afternoon in fabulous downtown Winston-Salem. I have lived here for about thirteen years and I love this area but have never done a food tour here. I... More

Wow! I've been living in Winston-Salem for years, and I've never experienced it like this! Our guide, Nikki, was very relatable, down-to-earth, and knowledgeable. We had soooo much fun with her, and I learned so much about this place I already love. All of the restaurants on this tour were great. We started at Quanto Basta (Italian Bistro- the risotto... We have never been on a food tour, but were given tickets to go for a present. We were excited about this new adventure, and it was everything we thought and hoped it would be! We visited 6 local restaurants, all within walking distance of one another. We were delighted with all the samplings, and really enjoyed the small group... More

I went on the Winston-Salem tour and it was a great experience. Our guide Nikki knows a great deal about the history of Winston-Salem, but most importantly she knows her food. We went to six restaurants: Mozelle's, Spring House, Bib's, West End Coffeehouse, Foothills, and Camino Bakery. At each location, we were provided with drinks - alcohol at Mozelle's, Spring... More

Our group's tour with Nikki was one of the highlights of our weekend. As a personal chef and food blogger, Nikki is a wealth of knowledge about Winston-Salem history and food culture. She introduced us to great new restaurants. The food was delicious, portions were very generous, and I loved that we got to meet the chef/owners at several of... More

Adrian did a great job keeping the tour relaxed but also on time. Each restaurant showed great hospitality in addition to great food and beverages. I had a friend visiting and it was a perfect way to show her Winston-Salem. I would definitely recommend it and would do it again!

I went on this tour today while visiting a friend who lives in town. Adrienne was an entertaining, knowledgeable guide who kept the tour running very smoothly. We visited three restaurants for entree tastings, one for beer, one for chocolates, and one for dessert. All of the places had great food/drinks to offer, and were very hospitable. I would definitely... More

Had a wonderful time on the 2:15 Saturday tour. The food we tried was great! Even though we had a small group and it was rainy the tour guide Nikki made it a fun adventure. Loved that we got to go and try samplings at well known locations in Winston Salem and we also got some history in the mix.... More

My husband and I went on the Taste Carolina Gourmet Food walking tour in the West-End District of Winston-Salem. The tour guide, Adrienne, was very cordial, welcoming and knowledgeable of the history of the area. We visited four restaurants in the evening for Valentines Day (which was a surprise for my husband). It does involve a bit of walking (not... More

Excellent time was had by all. My wife and I met her sister and her husband. Highlight of the weekend was the taste of carolina tour. Plenty of food- we were all struggling to finish dessert at the last stop. We did the west end tour with Leslie, who also happens to be the owner. She drove over from Durham,... More
