I always visit the arboretum when we go to Wilmington. It's free for visitors and better than the others. I would recommend for everyone. There are beautiful gardens.

I spent a peaceful morning while visiting friends walking through the Arboretum. Everywhere I looked, whether it was the beautiful wooden bridge over the pond (complete with dragon), the extensive rose garden, to the blooming azaleas, lush foliage and trees, there was a photo worth taking. This lovely venue features free admission, a gift shop, and restrooms.

Arboretum is close to Airlie Gardens. It is free, small, and nice to visit. The visit there would take about 30 min or less. Enjoyed stopping by there.

These gardens are beautiful no matter what time of year you visit. There are pathways through gorgeous flower beds and plants and trees and bushes all all varieties. It is a very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. They also hold a nice art show in the Fall every year.

We came here because we love nature and to identify plants. It is small but very relaxing and well kept. It is a nice way to spend your time and it is free.

I went by the arboretum to ask a question about some of my bushes. The volunteers are always helpful if the agent is not on cite. I enjoy walking thru the garden and looking to see how their plants compare to my mine. They always have something different that I do not have in my garden. I get ideas from... More

So nice, especially the children's garden and the pond with a dragon in it. The beautiful flowers have tags with names for you. There are places to sit, pack a lunch to eat, fun for adults and children. It is beautiful.
