We moved to the area recently and have been downtown a few times. It's charming! Southern history, fun shops and restaurants. Looking forward to spending more time exploring all there is to see and do.

Quaint downtown area with very cool architecture in the surrounding neighborhoods. I'm not sure I would plan my trip around the downtown, but it's definitely worth checking out and maybe grabbing lunch along the river.

Using Wilmington as a setting in a novel I am writing. Are there any tea rooms or little restaurants that would be good for a mother/daughter outing? Also, would it be realistic to say that there were signs for an agency devoted to helping foster or at risk kids? Thank you for any help you can give me!
