My teenage son loves trains. Since it is $9 a person, I took him, and my husband took our daughter to the Serpentarium. We made the drive up from OIB for the afternoon to visit and explore. It is a small place, but lots of info and history of the Atlantic Coast line, which was headquartered there at one time.... More

Spent 1 1/2 hrs here trying to keep cool in the heat of August. The 4 kids we were with loved it! The room with the model trains was worth the admission!

Was $9 per person and only 3 rooms. Not worth the price of admission. Had some unique things to look at, but nothing special.

If you ever were or are fond of trains, this is a good place to bring back memories of travel by the train. The miniature models of trains are amazing and replica to the station, forests, woods, cities, villages is very good. Kids especially will love the fun interaction here with the trains. There is also a little play area... More

Small museum but the ultimate destination for model train enthusiasts. There is one huge room of running model trains. Good place for those with younger children.

Interesting smaller museum, our grand-kids loved it. Great for those rainy days when the beach is a wash out.

Torn between giving it a 3 and a 4 rating. The museum is located in an old train terminal and that is sort of interesting. It is small. There is a model railroad running that is fun to see and to push the buttons that start the various trains/etc.. There is a kid area with toys and a caboose. Not... More

The place doesn't have many actual trains, as there were a total of three cars that we could go into; however, we went to this place to take our toddler. He loved the model train room (there was a history room, model train room and kid room) and the kid room. The kid room was pretty hands-on, but we would... More

This museum has great working model trains with some little interactive touches like tooting a whistle and putting a bridge up and down. It can easily be done in an hour. If you are expecting full size trains to go through like at some railroad museums, you won't find that here. There is a caboose and a "hobo" boxcar. We... More

This is a great place for all ages. There are great displays and artifacts from the railroad era. The model trains are lots of fun to watch. We also liked being able to go in the caboose and engine. It is right downtown with free parking which is a bonus
