You will experience the painstaking detail of numerous layouts that reflect the history of railroads in Wilmington and southeastern North Carolina. The dedication of the staff is clearly apparent, this is a must see in Wilmington.

Nicely displayed Wilmington railroad history exhibits. You can walk through the railcars parked outside. Do not miss the enormous model train layout in the back of the museum. Great for history buffs, of course, and kids of all ages.

Cute, small train museum with interactive displays. The staff were very engaging and patient with my small children. Nice day out when it rains at the beach.

Have a humongous railroad layout. Terrific history of trains. Lost of things for the kids to participate in. My 3 year old nephew loved playing with the displays they had for kids.

I'm sure if you contact the museum they could give you the info you need. However, the museum is not that large and 150 students at one time may be very chaotic.
