We parked by the bridge at Aberffraw and walked our dog by the river down to the beach and then back through the sand dunes. It was very enjoyable and peaceful. The beach is very large and clean with good views towards the mainland.

We walked out beside the river Ffraw having parked at the bridge at high tide. The beach is beautiful, completely unspoilt and perfect for dogs. Don’t expect to buy ice creams here!

Gives access to the beach area and some good coastal walks. Was probably used as a main thoroughfare long ago.

Sand dunes, a large beach, a river, an old, old bridge that is quaint. Boats old and newer, holiday cottages and a great walk along the river leading over low hills to the coast and small bays leading to the next bay. A small and...More
