We have some friends that have a place at Topsail and we always enjoy it there. The beach is nice and wide and easy to take long walks on. There is plenty to do for the whole family.

We visited over New Years Eve/Day 2016 and loved our time here! It was in the mid-70's during most of our stay so we swam in the ocean and enjoyed fishing from the pier as well as in the sound. We saw dolphins every day and enjoyed watching local fishermen bring up different species of fish onto the shores as... More

We always go to topsail but there's limited things to do there. The kids get restless and the restaurants decrease in quality after the years. We usually end up driving to Wilmington to shop. It's ok I just need a little more to do.

I was there many time at my friend's house. The place is good for family or a group of friends who just want to quit time. Few bars there.

No better place to rest, relax and enjoy the Carolina Coast. Fishing, boating or just laying on the beach. Great beaches, great restaurants and most of all, great people.

December is a perfect time to be here. Shells, quartz and the constant roar of the ocean. Amazing! Miles of beach almost entirely to ourselves. We may never leave

After October 1, you can get a pass to drive on the south end of the beach. We just walked it the day after Thanksgiving. It was a three mile trip. Many pickup trucks fishing in the surf. Then on the bay or sound side, lots of individuals who had walked out.

Despite the shark threats during the summer (2015), we had a great girlfriends getaway to Topsail Island. The community is small -- it's not a super-touristy destination since there are no huge chain hotels or amusement parks. The cars in the parking lot of the apartment complex we stayed at was full of NC and VA license plates. But it... More

Breathtaking! It is absolutely stunning, the ocean is loud and musical. The rental we are staying at isn't great but this view makes it all worth it.
