This is a fun trail to hike, not a challenging one. It was converted from an old dump area, and is now going back to nature as it should. Biking is allowed.

Not real sure if we should have hiked on the bike trail, but we didn't run into any bikers, so I guess it doesn't matter. It might be a different story on a weekend though. Fun trail, well maintained.

Built on the site of an old landfill the trash will sometimes peek out from under the tree roots. It is tight with switchbacks. Locally maintained by the Tarheel Trailblazers mountain bike club.
