Great place to learn the history of Southport and surrounding area. The museum is always adding new artifacts and such.

This museum is a fun place for children. The staff provides treasure hunts with prizes for children. Everyone will learn about the NC waters and have fun too. It is also free with donations accepted.

Wonderful to have this in the heart of Southport...nice escape if it is incredibly hot outside. Lots of information....and a book on how to abandon ship! Loved it.

The local history is very interesting and the volunteers are friendly. There is a scavenger hunt for kids.

Tuesday through Saturday, 10-5, year round. Check on holidays, however even on the 4th they are open, but for limited hours.
