We to take some family pictures. Had fun walking the trail, climbing on large rocks, and some stepping in the water.

If you use your cell phone for directions, may want to print out in advance as I lost cell service. Inside of bridge is covered in graffiti and it's making it's way to the outside now. Not much to the bridge and no info posted nearby for history. The parking area is tiny yet there are numerous picnic tables...not sure... More

USA is full of covered bridges in relatively convenient spots from the new roads and one should treat themselves to see how practical this type of bridges were back in days of horse , buggy , Model T's .

Beautiful covered bridge from yesterday year and is 1 of 2 left in NC. Must visit. Great photo opps especially for leaf color. Has a well marked short loop hiking trail and picnic tables. Lots of rocks make it easy to get to the water. Gated, visit during daylight hours Sunday thru Saturday.

The bridge is very cute and great for photos! There's a short trail through the woods to get from one side of the bridge to the other. There are also lots of rocks in the creek below the bridge that can be walked on. The only disappointing thing was the graffiti. It's mainly on the inside of the bridge. Some... More

The Pisgah Covered Bridge is a unique experience in that it is one of two remaining covered bridges in NC. Unfortunately, it has been littered with graffiti (some of which is pretty cool, but some is obscene). You can have a picnic here and there is a path, but it seemed a bit too creepy for me to continue down... More

On our way out of Asheboro N.C we stopped at the bridge as I had previously heard about it. It was a warm day and lovely to walk around and through the bridge using the path that is allocated. A little stream and lots of greenery was a welcome site. Peaceful and quiet. Pity about all the graffiti on the... More

My family recently visited Pisgah Covered Bridge with the hopes of using it as a backdrop for a birthday photo shoot. Although, we live in the area, it was my first time visiting the site. I was surprised how close it was to the main road where passing cars whizzed by at pretty fast speeds. It was at times a... More

We visited the Pisgah Covered Bridge during our camping trip to Zooland Family Campground. It's not very far from the campground and a free attraction that won't take very long to go through. They have some nice trails and the bridge. It's absolutely beautiful and photography buffs would get some nice shots here. I can imagine it must be beautiful... More

If you are going somewhere close to the bridge, it's a nice place to stop and stretch your legs. If you drive a long distance, you may be disappointed. It is a quaint piece of history. But the picture you see is about as good as it gets. There is a small trail that leads from one side of the... More
