The Gaol museum at Toodyay is an excellent way to explore what life was like 160 years ago.

Worth taking a look and understanding Toodyay history $5 fee for entry or $12 for a family . Lots to look at , I enjoyed the court house , you can take a photo being a criminal and a policeman, the kids will love it.
Took an overseas visitor to learn a little of our past. Where this is situated gives people an insight into past and present living conditions. A small facility which has displays that I found interesting especially the insight from local indigenous people.
Enjoyed looking at this museum. Only cost $3 pp to enter. Lots of interesting things to look at including the story of moondine Joe. The staff member was lovely and full of knowledge. Well worth a visit .
