Beautiful large treed area to stop overnight. Plenty of room for all sized caravans. Interesting history of the dam. Very peaceful and highly recommend.

Great spot to camp between Norseman and Esperance in the Great Western Woodlands. Bromus dam is very well preserved considering it was constructed in 1925/1926.

Worthy of a night stay, nice walk very open quiet place to stay. Plenty of neighbours so no Wolf Creek scenario.

Sure, you have to get a bit of mud between your toes but the water in the dam is refreshing on a hot summer's day. Great spot for camping or a picnic. Dam wall is steep but accessible. Our kids could swim but be aware...More

Pleasantly surprised how much room was here to free camp. Bins & fire pits available. Only one other camper there when we arrived. Plenty of water in the dam. Could fit large vans in front area, may struggle around the back from the right hand...More

Used as a water supply for the steam trains back in the gold rush days, the Bromus dam is a historical masterpiece. This site has a very large camping and picnic area.
