I was surprised at the size (large), climate control (good), and seats (comfortable) in this theater. There was plenty of room onstage for a production of The Wizard of Oz. And the performance matched the venue. The young people put on a great show.

Loved attending the "Taming of the Shrew" at the Norvell Theater. Never realized Rowan County has such amazing talent! Wonderful performance by a cast of great actors! Beautiful building and don't believe there's a bad seat in the house. Looking forward to attending many more plays!

The shows put on by the Piedmont Players are generally high quality. The musicals are Broadway worthy.

Excellent theater to watch a play, however the sound system could be better for the hard of hearing. Staff, ushering, and concessions all very nice.

What a fantastic Sunday afternoon with my granddaughter and her friend! We watched the Piedmont Players do "Junie B. Jones" with a cast mostly made up of third graders. The girl who played Junie B was outstanding. My girls are in kindergarten so there was some star quality being envied. After the play the girls lingered, had their pictures made... More

My family has seen a couple different children's plays here and it always has been a great experience. There isn't a bad seat and plenty of leg room (unlike a Broadway Theatre). If you have a chance to catch a play while you are in town I highly recommend it.

My husband and I recently attended opening night of Taming of the Shrew at the Norvell Theater. What a lovely venue! The theater has great seating and acoustics and the play was superbly done by a cast of middle and high schoolers. Very impressive!

The Meroney Theater has great adult entertainment, community theater at its best, with performers from the entire region, an award winning theater with a wide range of offerings. The Norvell Theater is a children's theater venue where it is all done by the kids, acting, lighting, set design, sound, back stage, a true family experience.

My family treated me to the James Gregory show at this theater for the last two years. I love the fact that it small enough that there is not a bad seat in the house. I look forward to my next show. I recommend enjoying a performance there, you will be impressed.
