Miniature golfing, volleyball, softball, paddle boats, petting zoo, gem mine, splash pad - you name it - they have it and yes the price is right. Dan Nicholas Park has a nice variety of things to do, putt putt, softball, horseshoes, paddle boats, nice picnic shelters, nicely maintained and clean. It's a great place to go for exercise and family fun, even on a tight budget.

Lots of fun and activities. There is something for everyone. If the fried pie truck is there, don't miss out on some of the best you will put in your mouth. Take some home as I did. Lots of areas to walk. Plenty of small children activities. Take a picnic and have a great day outside.

We always have a fantastic time at Dan Nicholas! So much to do! Very inexpensive to ride the train, carousel, walk the petting zoo, etc. Beautiful setting, great playgrounds and picnic areas. Our kids enjoyed "panning" for precious gems. We look forward to coming here whenever the weather is pretty.

Dan Nicholas park is very family oriented, with lots of activities for families to enjoy. There's paddle boats, fishing, putt-putt and volley ball. There's a walking trail around the lake and a nature trail thru the woods. The walk around the lake is a great way to get in a little exercise and enjoy nature in a quiet, peaceful environment.
