Dan Nichols Park is a pretty nice park except the prices. I believe it's tax payer supported so what do we have to pay.. If you rent a covered area they are dirty and the grills need repairing.

This is a county owned park and its very well taken care of with activities for people of all ages. Fishing, Putt Putt, Carousel, Pick nicking, nature walk, trails, camping facilities, soft ball fields, basketball courts, volleyball, and even a mini zoo... def worth the...More

Went there on Saturday 1-27 and not a lot open to public. Closed at 5pm since Winter. But usually we have fun and most of the time there is plenty to do and it started raining too.

Took my grandnephew and grandniece to visit the park. It was a very hot day, and they are bit young. The park is a bit large with several different sections, however, we arrived during early May and all of the services were not completely manned....More

It’s fun to go anytime really! There’s something to always do and when they have the autumn jubilee gaa it’s the best thing ever especially the food! I would def go here anytime if u like to be outside.

We love coming to Dan Nicholas to camp. There are trees everywhere and it is beautiful. There are also many activities for children and so many things to do here, including a zoo. We love walking around the lake but there are other hiking trails...More

Nice paddle boats to paddle around the lake. The shelters are nice for family get together and nice campground.

I am not 100 percent sure, but I don't think you can. As for the swan or flamingo paddle boats, I have never seen any like that, all the paddle boats are the same, except for the color.
