Compared to other wheatbelt towns we found this visitor centre very average. They need more creative displays promoting Merredin & it surrounds.However the staff are very friendly & helpfulMore

We had an unscheduled stop in Merredin and staff rearranged our ongoing train trip to Kalgoorlie no problem at all.The Visitor Centre is centrally located and has lots of information available.

Called in to find out what is happening in town. Very knowledgeable, helpful. Had a range of usual souvenirs. Worth calling in if your in the area and want some local knowledge.

We have totally relied on visitor information centres on our travels in Western Australia. At Merredin the staff went above and beyond in helping us find a B&B. Robin was amazing phoning for us and explaining where to go and giving us options. We chose...More

We went in for a look and to ask the times for the Railway Musuem. Very helpful staff and also lots of hand crafted items for sale. Cheaper than Perth prices. Picked up lots of interesting books for future travel in West Australia. A very...More

An unimposing building near the town's car park area and friendly staff. Plenty of information available if you wish to explore the wheatbelt

On a few occasions during our two day stay in Merredin we found ourselves in here asking for help. On all occasions Robin couldn't have been more helpful and pointed us in the right direction every time. Thanks Robin for being so approachable.

I stopped in here in my way from Perth got Kalgoorlie and the lovely ladies manning the visitor centre were very lovely, friendly and helpful. They were helpful in pointing me to a cafe for a healthy lunch, and also the local petrol stations. Must...More
