The Mount Barrens - East, Middle & West are standout features of Fitzgerald National Park. East Mt Barren is climbable via steep narrow & rocky path. The reward is amazing 360 degree views

A nice challenging scrabble up a narrow, winding path with scrub either side and small rocks underfoot. Every time you think you're about to reach the top, there's another rise that appears, but it was great fun and an amazing view from the top. Coming...More

Visited on a wet day but still found it a spectacular place. Really need a 4x4 to access all areas but the bit we saw was good. Nice facilities.

A good walk some rocky places but worth the climb. Take plenty of photos as you go up. Have waterbottle on you and once at the top, stop and soak in the views, they are breath taking. Wouldn't take 3yr and less there , bit...More

For a relatively short (though hilly) hike East Mount Barren packs a punch with great views in all directions inland over Fitzgerald River National Park and along the beaches and coastlines. The view back along the beach towards Hopetoun is particularly good. Definitely a walk...More
