I visited this winery as part of a tour. The selection of wines we tried was unsurpassed by any other tasting I’ve ever had. They had over twenty wines available and we were offered at least half of them. There were also souvenirs, glasses, hampers and handmade bling champagne stoppers available to purchase. I couldn’t leave without purchasing a bottle of the Sparkling Shiraz Rose and the White Shiraz. Their generosity and professionalism was especially commendable as they were juggling many tastings on a very busy Sunday.

Very welcoming but seemed busy(which is good) however the lady was super attentive and seemed to make time for everyone and had great knowledge of the wines, she showed a real passion for what she did, the wine tasting was free which was a surprise, but some really good wines, our friends bought a case(shipped free in Australia)
Would highly recommend as I felt some of the other wineries were a little pretentious, also charged more than you would pay at a wine merchant or retail outlet which seems crazy.
I would highly recommend a visit to Kies Family wines.
Thanks for the experience.

We attended a Sunset Session at Kies Winery. The music was great, not too loud but catered for everyone, even the kids, who were also made to feel very welcome. The event was well organised and laid out so that nobody felt crowded or uncomfortable. Plenty of shady areas and a delicious selection of tasty food to choose from for the evening, all arranged from their Monkey Nut Cafe. Great selection of wines from the cellar door and soft drinks, beers and coffee etc available all afternoon-evening. There was even a beautiful craft market staged by local crafters. A wonderful atmosphere and we all certainly had a brilliant time.

We visited Kies Family Wines as part of a Barossa Valley tour. We visited four sites in total, and this was easily the best.
The setting is spectacular, the hosts were very welcoming and knowledgeable and the wines were delicious.
We were given a wide range of wines to taste, and it was nice to be given options, rather than a set list.
I’d highly recommend a stop here, and we are really looking forward to the delivery of the wine we ordered (which was an absolute bargain at a $10 flat fee!).

The whole experience was brilliant, from the meet and greet, vineyard wander and winery tour.
The blending was very personal (a small group of 5) and we were provided three very high quality wines to use in our blend.
Bronson was amazingly generous with his time, his wine, and his extensive knowledge, we ran almost an hour over time.
He is clearly passionate about producing the best wines possible and this is reflected in the end product. High quality wine 🙂
This was our second hands on "experience" at this particular vineyard after visiting on a recommendation September 2023. We also did the "Pick and Stomp" earlier this month (see separate review).
We would highly recommend both experiences.

I brought my parents here while they were visiting from Canada. Somehow I hadn't been yet but we decided to stop. And oh my goodness in glad we did! Had a beautiful wine tasting with the most wonderful and knowledgeable staff. They genuinely seemed excited to share their knowledge of the winery and its wines for us to sample. Quite an extensive wine list to try, and as I was designated driver I only had little sips from my parents' glasses. But walked away having bought 3 bottles and might just have to go back for more 🤣 If you're in Lyndoch try to stop by and try a few. You won't regret it!

I enjoyed my time here amongst grand company during a mystery wine bus tour, and it was a splendid tasting experience for many of our wine, port, or liqueur enthusiasts wanting to dabble, savour, or indulge in a range of local Barossa crafts. Passionate winemakers, service team, family history, and excellent value to visit alongside the specialist tea shop and cafe.
Whether you are an adventurous individual, couple, or tour group, visiting the Kies Family Wines is worthwhile for embracing diverse Barossa produce on any epicurean scale.

This family owned business is my new favourite winery! We had an incredible time learning about the history of the winery, about the grapes and process of making the wine. The wine tastes incredible and is so reasonably priced for the quality. The family and employees are all so genuinely passionate about their products which made me want to support them too. A great selection of wines too!

We recently attended the Kies Family Wines event Saturday at Sunset. The weather was perfect, the venue amazing, and the staff were friendly and generous as usual. The live music, Free Genie were amazing and played a wide variety of songs enjoyed by all ages. The food options were fantastic and the wine as good as ever. We had a great time at this event and look forward to coming again.

Had an amazing experience at Kies Family Wines. The service was above and beyond what we had received at other wineries and the tasting experience was fantastic. A very friendly atmosphere. Fantastic staff, beautiful wines and a wealth of knowledge was shared about the winery and its history.
