Amazing place to go for camping or a day trip. The water is beautiful and there is a well setup camping area just up the hill.

Beautiful campsite with great views of the lake. Adequate facilities for a campfire, bbq, ablutions etc. Unforttunately the yatching club kids had just finished and rinsed off thier muddy boots in the showers leaving them unusable. Plenty to see and a wonderful well maintained walking...More

Walked around and saw the kangaroos in their natural habitat, was such a big area to explore, very nice.

At the time of visit, there was no water activity allowed due to algae. However, its still a nice place to camp, with awesome hot showers and also has drinking water. There are kangaroos, birds and plenty of wildlife around and if you want to...More

One of the main water supply facilities for Toowoomba and surrounds. It offers loads of open space to get away from everything and all under 2 hours from Brisbane.

A lovely trip out to Cressbrook Lake, ideal for a picnic, plenty of space to park and look around the area

This dam is a wonderful engineering feat and my friend's father died whilst working on the dam. A plaque is on a rock near the dam which was very moving for us to see. Nice clean picnic areas.
