I have visited this winery on a number of occasions now and each time I have bought a minimum of six people with me.. we have eaten at the restaurant which we feel is overpriced for what you get.. we have really enjoyed getting away from the city and look forward to listening to great music.. however on the last two occasions the owner has been quiet nasty to us and to top it off we got abused for bringing our own water on the last visit.. the owner should look at her staff as they couldn’t be more helpful and pleasant to deal with maybe she should take a lesson from them in the future. Needless to say we will not be back again..

Dear Annemareep298, Oh .. what a terrible review. I am genuinely mortified!! Please accept my unqualified apology. I write as the owner, and I'm a male, so it was not me who greeted you. I am sorry that I didn't have a chance to meet you personally and create a vastly improved impression. You review is greatly appreciated though. Without constructive criticism, we can never improve. Our unashamed goal is absolute excellence and it is obvious we failed on this occasion. Our parlous performance is all the more poignant given your repeated attendances, and your generous introduction of fellow guests. In an effort to make amends, I hope you will accept a gift of 2 bottles of wine (of your choice of course) when next you dine with us. Simply call me personally and I will ensure your visit is seamless. Warmest regards David. 0402 793 889.

The outlook over the lake is beautiful. The red wine was enjoyable.
The food tasted nice as you would expect. Four people, one and a half hours drive of Brisbane, sparking water, one bottle of red, three courses, $ 374.
Portions were way too small. We ended up eating again in Beaudesert on the way home. The website says they open till 4pm, but at 3:15 they had already turned the coffee machine off and we’re packing up around us. Giving us the hurry up.
Not worth it when you leave hungry and have to spend 3 hours on B grade country roads for the day.

Be prepared to relax and enjoy the setting. The wine tasting is best enjoyed with food as you are seated in the restaurant or the grounds. This place isn't in a hurry and the history of the dam is as interesting as the story of the winery. A memorable experience and we were allowed to have our dog out the back on the grass.

The two stars are to acknowledge the great effort of the chef and his team. The sand crab lasagna and the duck were our highlights. My husband wasn’t happy with his wagyu steak brisket and my father in law though that the cod tasted like basa ☹️

Service was awful, my husband booked a table at 1:30pm for lunch on the deck for 4 people, we were placed in a terrible spot near kitchen door and the ramp to the bathroom, On a fairly humid hot day (al fresco dinning) they didn’t have any fans or misting devices. The venue was so hot, even their staff weren’t coping, and had to cool themselves down in the cold room.

Staff members were so busy picking up dirty plates from other tables and organising cutlery they forgot about us, no drinks offered, no water served in such a heat. Terrible. I had to remind them we were there.

The venue is great, and it has great views but don’t be fooled by this, terrible customer service, basic seating , small serves, bland deserts and they don’t cater to the weather conditions. We couldn’t wait to leave to never come back.

Nice set menu options for a very casual lunch. The crispy pork belly was actually crumbed which was surprising. The sandcrab lasagne had good crab flavour in the sauce. Creme brulee was lovely.
It was super windy....with a glass being blown off the next table on the deck ....which was a pity as all the screens were pulled down so we couldn't really enjoy the view.

I visited The Overflow Estate on the weekend for a fun run. Wow what an absolute piece of paradise. The setting is absolutely stunning!! We stayed in the glamping accommodating which was just fantastic, even the loo's were impressive, very lux! The food and wine were amazing but what was most memorable was meeting the lovely husband and wife team that own the estate. It was instantly obvious that this is a labour of love and their genuine interest in you enjoying your time at their estate. I can't wait to go back!!

Disappointing . Food presentation ,portions& taste poor. Wine expensive & poor quality. Certainly not what was expected for a small family get together after travelling a distance .Live entertainment very poor & annoyingly loud . The view & property very nice . Not value for money. Ate dessert elsewhere on the way home .

Absolutely loved this gorgeous place. We came on a quiet Wednesday afternoon as we were staying in a wander pod. While there was no food on offer (besides cheese board and chips), We tasted a few wines and was pleasantly surprised. My non-drinking friend actually loved the wines. We were met by the lovely David. David gave us a good over view of the winery and surrounds. Thank you David! He even managed to get us checked into the pod early and picked us some roses. I would love to come back ( and I will) to experience the food and when the atmosphere is going (we were the only ones there which was nice also)

Cannot rate the estate more highly. There service is exceptional , the food is delicious and the views are outstanding. Recently we visited the estate after a stand up paddle boarding and camping trip. Given it was our first trip we decided to finish our trip with lunch at the winery. We arrived a little early and were greeted by warm smiles and a willingness to make us feel extra comfortable after a cold night camping. The team at the estate could not have helped us enough. The food was amazing , the service excellent. We will definitely be back to enjoy the sumptuous menu. 5 stars.
