Outstanding camping facilities! Toilets/showers always clean! The springs down the road are by far the best in Mataranka, but make sure you take a noodle! Can be hired from campsite! Wildlife everywhere! Couldn’t recommend it more highly!
This is the best spring pool in Mataranka, it is still a little slimy and dirty due to the amount of leaves and branches in the water. But still great to go with the flow floating around with your pool noodle
Bitter Springs has a further walk to the springs than at the homestead. The springs have a great walkway to walk out and back to the start. Take noodles or floatation devices so you can relax and float down the springs. But if you like...More
complete opposite of mataranka, quiet blissful relaxing, clean.
Take a pool noodle and just float with the current, getout for a short walk back to the start and go again. we could have spent all day there
