This is the long craggy beach that forms the shoreline of Trapani. Along it are a number of points of interest including Ligny Tower, the Bastion, and the old Mercato del Pesce. All can be easily accessed from the paved walkway.

You will enjoy beautiful sunsets from most any place along the walkway.

The lungomare in Trapani is an absolutely beautiful place to walk. I have jogged along it many times in the early morning as the sun is rising and it is also very beautiful at sunset time. You have the ocean on one side and the buildings of Trapani on the other, several of which are of fascinating architecture. It is a very popular place for local people to walk with their dogs and families. There are various places where one can go to the sea if swimming is on your wish list and lidos not far away.

A very relaxing walk by the sea, early in the morning or in the evening. Also good for a swim. The sea is clean and easy to walk by. Nice view.

A one kilometer stretch of the old Spanish wall built when they controlled this side of Sicily. Great views and opportunities to take some great pictures. The sound of the ocean is relaxing when it isn't crowded. The shore is rocky and there can be seaweed and other debris washed ashore at times.

Quite the view! Rather special in the morning. Not the time of year to swim (we were there in October) but a lovely walk.

…. on the calm sea on this New Year's Eve night 😴!

Walking 🚶‍♂️🚶🚶🏿‍♀️ and admiring 👁️ this piece of the city that projects towards the nearby Egadi Islands is really very…. , but much …. pleasant 😊 while the background silence is broken by some sporadic 💥 " Mortaretto " 💥 or ☄️ " Red Bengal " ☄️ shot 🏹 towards the sea 🌊 .....

We remain silent 🤫 to better perceive all the beautiful sensations that inebriate us in an endless "unique"!

Magic 🌟 of the Walls of Tramontana!!

we stopped in Trapani city waiting for transport to the airport coming from Favignana.
walking through the center we ended up on the opposite side from the port and we were overwhelmed by the fantastic colors of the city beach.
it's a shame that we were dressed 'as northern cities', had I known that there was a sea so I would have taken the opportunity to take one last swim.
and today (September 23, 2023) it would have truly deserved it! about 35 degrees!!

Nice stretch for a walk. The lights at night make the place more evocative, you can see the points of the illuminated funicular on one side and the containment bastions on the opposite.
