    Beautiful, unpebbly, calm beach.
Beautiful, calm, shallow water to swim in. You have to park, then walk a bit to get to it. Unlike other Milos beaches, didn't have to watch out for sharp rocks while in the water. Like other have said, no organized shelter or other facilities. So get a tent/umbrella, snacks etc if you can't take the heat or plan on spending the whole day there. We just plonked our towels and bags and headed in for a swim. It was a 34 degree day and we got there around 3 PM and were there for about 2 hours. Once done, back in to our car and to a cafe in Pollonia for a bite to eat :-)

    poor accessibility
We took a20 minute bus ride from the port to Firiplaka beach which dropped us off at the top of a mountain. We didnt know it was a 15-20 minute walk down the mountain to the beach(we walked slower than others due to my sisters injured ankle). If you have a problem with walking skip this beach. You can rent a car or buggy and park closer ,if you can get a good spot. The beach is very beautiful, calm waters and soft sand. They had the nerve to charge us $50 for lounge chair/umbrella which we decided not to do,thats insane. They had food/drinks but we didnt get anything from there, im sure it was overpriced. Beach was very crowded in the afternoon.

The amazing visit of Firaplaka beach
This place is amazing. One of the most beautiful beach that I ever seen in my life. The sand is cute and soft. The sea’s colour is blu with very clear mixture of light blu and turchese. It’s possibile also to find a lot of very colourful fishes. I can recommend this beach to all people really love natural and wild places all over the world.

This is THE beach to go to!
If you go to one beach in Milos, make this the beach. It's a little a bit to get to and you may feel like you're going the wrong way as there's mining activities occurring just off the road. You also drive a little bit on sand, so be careful of the potholes and dips. But once you get there...WOW! The water, the sand, the rock formations...it's just beautiful. The water depth is also great for playing in, swimming, or water sports. There's also beach chairs for rent. There isn't a lot of shade except where those chairs are, so keep that in mind if you burn like I do.

A magical beach out of the main tourist season
Go out of the main tourist season and see it at its best. We went on an early November afternoon in brilliant sunshine. Yes, the water is a bit cool then but to be on this beach with no one else was magical.

Wonderful beach during last week of March was very peaceful and not many people around. Blue and green cristalline waters.

A must see while staying on Milos. Such a beautiful clean beach with beach bar. The road off the sealed road is as a little dicey in parts but there has been a little rain prior to our holiday. You need your own transportation. Throughly recommend.

I’m not sure what people are talking about, but this is NOT an organized beach. The parking was limited and it was difficult to walk down to the beach. There is no restaurant and no chairs or umbrellas to rent. Beautiful water, but be warned there is nothing there!!

Beautiful beach but very very hot and no shade. The heat is amplified by the cliffs behind. The swimming was lovely and the water turquoise and clear. But the heat and lack of shade and very busy beach were negative aspects. The coloured cliffs are fascinating to look at and it is worth going to the beach to see those alone.

The best beach I’ve visited in Milos! Amazing water, a bit rough on waves the day I went, and I could’ve spent all day in the water. Getting there was a bit of an nuissance but it was well worth it. Loved it! Check out papafragas caves, it was my second best favorite for a swim.
