The thermal baths are very old.
The showers and toilets are not really clean and smell of urine. All the pools, except for the Liquid Sound pool, are too cold to spend any time in. The sauna area is also a little old.
Some of the saunas smell funny and it was completely overcrowded. The restaurant almost only serves overpriced spaghetti with 5-6 different sauces and baguettes.
The only plus point: parking is cheap at €1, but you would expect that for that price.
The price-performance ratio of the thermal baths is still not justifiable.

We went to the thermal baths today for Saturday, including the sauna. The entrance fees are of course quite high - €36 per person.
The thermal baths are beautifully laid out, but we were looking for peace and relaxation in vain.
The Liquid Sound area would certainly be great for relaxing if the ban on talking were enforced. It is signposted in large and clear signs, even under video surveillance, but nobody makes sure that the instructions are followed. So it's far from relaxing.
Unfortunately, you couldn't really use the outdoor pool either, as the water was much too cold.
Finally, we went to the sauna. Everything was completely overcrowded and everyone was sitting there like squirrels. The crowning glory was then the search for a lounger. After
15 minutes of searching and walking back and forth several times, we finally found a place in the relaxation room. Unfortunately, you can't find peace there either, and of course you can find people besieging loungers there too. Everything is far too small for so many people. Either we need more space or fewer people.
We won't be coming back!

Yesterday in the thermal baths - today SICK
Unfortunately we regretted our visit to the thermal baths yesterday. Why?
The water temperature was much too low. All the pools could do with a few degrees more water temperature. Only the liquid sound pool was (most) bearable.
The room temperature in the bathing area was also too cold.
The pricing is also no longer up to date. We don't know of any thermal baths that charge additional payments not only up to the next price limit. (Example: 2-hour rate 20.00 euros + additional payment of 2.50 euros/30 minutes -> if I stay for 4 hours that's 30.00 euros (with a 4-hour rate of 26.00 euros)!! That really can't be described as anything other than a rip-off. Very annoying!!
In short, we won't go back for the next 20 years, even though we live just around the corner.

The only thermal spa for miles around. Actually good, but unfortunately a bit dated. We particularly liked the saltwater pool with the irradiated ceiling and the music under water. Unfortunately, I can't stand slides in a thermal spa, even if it's just one. But for me, it has no place in a thermal spa.

To end our last day of vacation nicely, we decided to visit the thermal baths. With 34.00 euros for a day ticket, I had high expectations. My first impression after changing was the showers and toilets, and they smelled so strongly of urine that I had only ever seen that in unkempt motorway toilets. (My partner reported the same experience in the men's toilets).
The pools were quite cold, only the Liquid Sound pool was pleasantly warm, and as a result it was quite full. As a passionate sauna-goer, what I was looking forward to most was the sauna area. And I was very disappointed. It was very full, the showers smelled of urine again and the ore grotto was so dark that there was a high risk of tripping. The stone benches in this steam sauna were so unpleasantly slimy, a really terrible feeling.
After 4 hours we left because we couldn't really relax. What a waste of my money.

I have known the spa since 2003.
At the time, I was absolutely thrilled. It was an absolute evening
colorful experience. Everywhere were colorful lights, spotlights, no matter where you
looked. The atmosphere was very pleasant, romantically harmonious, cozy and a feast for the eyes. The infusions were at certain times and always with a towel waver. The hot tub was also nicely lit and the outdoor pool in the sauna area was really nice and cold, just as it should be.
Now I was back a few days ago and couldn't believe my eyes ... !
The colorful lighting with all the spotlights in and outside the pools has mostly disappeared and the lighting that remains is absolutely pale and faint that the effect has completely disappeared ! The jacuzzi in the sauna area is completely unlit ...almost eerie. No matter where you look, it's bleak, murky and no longer colorful. Instead, more white-bright diodes now light up...the mood is completely gone and you just don't feel comfortable anymore. In addition, there was no sauna Wedler...., the infusion was only briefly poured over and the ceremony was ready. The outdoor pool in the sauna area is no longer cold and you are not really cooled and fast enough after the sauna. In terms of personnel, I've only seen one man, that's all. So this spa has subsided so much that I will probably never go there again ! Enter here max. 2 stars !

Of course there are larger thermal baths with more pools and saunas, but for 4 hours you are also well served here. There are three very warm and two warm pools. We spent a relaxing afternoon in the thermal baths. The water and air temperature was very pleasantly warm. On Monday afternoon, the bathing and swimming area was not very busy. There were enough loungers and you could also relax very well in the salt water pool. The sauna was full, but not overcrowded. We found loungers here too. The thermal baths are a bit old. But everything was clean. There was a strange smell in the grotto. We didn't stay there. The restaurant is also recommended. We had a good dinner there afterwards.

Unfortunately, my expectations of a nice stay were not fulfilled.
We booked the four hours so that we would have enough time for various sauna sessions.
We were absolutely disappointed with the sauna area.
The condition of the facility was showing its age, the saunas were cold and one smelled very unpleasant.
The rock grotto was a dark hole, not at all inviting.
In short, it was impossible to feel comfortable.

Unwelcoming lady at the reception, no bathrobes no slippers...just some medium sized towels. Bad food and not cheap at all. Good nice clean warm pools, amazing sauna land and not to forget the underwater soundpool with warm salty water. Bring towels, bathrobes, slippers snacks and water. Overall not bad but it could be better, it doesn't feel cosy, it needs an update.
