It is a beautiful hike through the gorge. Be prepared for a long uphill climb - 2 to 3 hours depending if you go to the end of the gorge or to the hut. Don’t forget a raincoat - water drips from crevices and there...More

Amazing walk through ravines, caves and stunning scenery. Quite a hike to get to the top but so very worth if for the views. Try to fit a visit here into your tour of the area approximately 30 minutes from Garmish.

This is a long walk with ice cold showers of water, but the views will reward your efforts. Wear shoes with good grip.

Amazing views, very wet so bring a coat! Steep walk to get there t worth the effort. Costs a few euros to enter and remember to keep your ticket or you will have to pay twice!

Other reviewers have covered the practical tips and general information. I just want to add my recommendation to do this hike. Challenging terrain, awesome views, beautiful pools of water and waterfalls, tunnels, bridges and more. It's wet and slippery, but so worth it to be...More
