Huge and beautiful Ganpathi idol here. Bada Ganpathi temple is situated at the junction point of Bijasan road, Jinsi Road , Malharganj road . Temple is one of the major attraction in Indore. 25 feet Lord Ganesh Idol made up of Bricks, Limestone and soils. This is one famous visit location at Indore. The Bada Ganapati is huge and placed in sitting position. there is open courtyard in front of the deity for devotees to stand and pray. there is also hanuman temple within the premises. flower, coconut shops are at the entrance of the temple. Bada ganpati temple is just 5 km away from airport and railway station of indore. It's just in center of indore.very near(hardly 2km) to famous rajwada and sarafa gali. The temple is dedicated to Lord Ganesha. It is situated at a congested area inside the city, so one might have some issues with crowd and parking. Inside temple there is very big Lord Ganesha statue. A must visit place to get blessings of Lord Ganesha.

Good Temple, very big Ganpati Idol. Located in a congested area, no proper parking facility available. But should visit atleast once.

The construction material used in carving the deity of Lord Ganesha comprised limestone, jaggery,bricks,soil and water.The statue of the Lord Ganesha housed in this temple is 25 feet in height, which makes it one of the largest Lord Ganesha statue in the world.
