Sarafa Bazaar Night Food Market offers various street foods and local Indori cuisine also. The place is too crowded at late hours. Overall, a must visit for a tourist.

If you are an international traveller- stay clear . Substandard hygiene, local crowd is pushy and rude and you eat standing among people who are loud in every way possible and jostling around. Not worth a visit even if you are not planning to eat - bad taste - from quite a number of uncivilised people there will linger in your memory for a long time.

Tried few iconic outlets and dishes

Joshi Dahi Bada - Joshi ji is a very nice person and his style of interaction will make you love this outlet even before you try tasting

Chakachak - potato twister is nice

Panipuri - 10 diff flavours is very nice

Gold man - kulfi falooda was nice

Garadu - take from the uncle ji only

Jaleba - must have!

Problems:

Hygiene is compromised at every step - be cautious!

It’s too crowded - you hardly get a place to stand and enjoy these items

Too noisy!

Visited Sarafa bazaar during my first visit to Indore. It is basically a food street with lots of vendors that is very lively. I’ve been to other similar cities and same kind of market and comparing them , Sarafa bazaar definitely stands out for variety of food and cleanliness.
Though I found the place is overhyped and food items are over priced. Good for one time experience, won’t comes again though.

India only night food market .Sarafa Bazar operates till midnight. In the day time, it is a jewellery market which usually opens up at around 11 AM and later after 8 PM the jewellery stores shut down and the street food vendors set up their stalls. So basically, the timings of Sarafa Bazar is from 11am till 3 pm.Thats why MP tourism tag line in advertisement is YUMMI INDORE.

This place was not as good as I expected, or hoped for as it’s very crowded with two wheelers trying to cross on already super crowded place.
You can’t even enjoy food without worry about it spilling or someone messing up your clothes. Very messy.

I visited here again after 2 years. The charm and food delicacy is same. There are few newly added food joints as well like starters, Veg Chaaps, Coconut crushs etc.

There is still lot of crowd at famous Joshi Dahi Bada, Vijay chat and Samosa wale at corner. These are highlights of Sarafa where every person goes.

I tried Jaleba and Rabdi which i could not taste it last time as stomach got full. I simply loved the taste of it.

People visiting Indore should try this once in lifetime. I like this place, food varieties, people and their humbleness.

It's simply wow..

A vegetarians paradise...we went at around 9.30pm. There was so much to savor.

Starting from momos, Sandwiches, chats, pizzas, dosas, pav bhajis to garadu, bhutte ka kees..the list can go on and on.
We also had a variety of shots(fruit juice) and Tawa ice cream.
All I needed was an extra stomach..hahaha..
