Zhangjiajie is a massive reserve area. However, this area is where you are bound to come back to again and again. The reason it's the main gate leading to different zones. One area shall lead you to the Glass Bridge. There's a lot of first for this area. It has the longest glass bridge in the world; it has the... More

Intense in both crowds and stunning scenery this is a popular spot in the park and deservedly so. The first time i was up here it was really foggy so hard to really enjoy it but when I went back the next day it was clearer and my jaw dropped. Really beyond words, well worth fighting the crowds to see... More

This was the only section of the park I was able to see during my tight action packed 3 week trip throughout China but I was not let down, even though I had to pay the hefty entrance price of 240 yuan. The entrance fee is good for four days, but unfortunately I had only one day to visit the... More

It's a must place to visit, this place used to be very poor, not many tourists know about it until Avatar movie, it becomes one of the best known places in the world. Speechless view, the only worry is the weather, the complaint is the crowds. So I choose to come here in November, a bit cold but still bearable.... More

This bridge spans China's Grand Canyon and is apparently the longest glass bridge in the world...disclaimer, I don't know if that statement is accurate or not, it's just what I heard. But whether it is or not, it's so fun to walk across and take pictures. Have fun!

We had just 2 days for a 3 day ticket and there is more to do than this with the glass bridges etc. You cannot believe the scenery here, it is in the same category as the Grand Canyon for spectacular, no wonder it was used in Avatar. Very organized travel systems around the huge national park allowing you the... More

Most people visit because they saw the movie Avatar, but this park is actually HUGE and has more to offer than just the Avatar area. Inside the park, u can easily find insects with unique colors. If u're up for more adventure, I suggest tracking inside of the park, but if u're not a big fan of that, u can... More

It is worth to spend here 4 days (ticket allows you to). You have a lot of points to visit. So, just walk around and explore this fantastic place. We stayed at the pullman hotel. It is nice place, good breakfast (only after you understand the local cuisine a little bit). Anyway, not as good as usual such level hotels.... More

This is the place that inspired the Avatar movie scenes in Hallelujah mountains, and Hallelujah! Wulingyuan Park is truly worth visiting especially if you like a good hike uphill. Entrance tickets can be bought for 245¥ at the entrance, last 3 days and include bus rides ad-lib. It is possible to sleep in the park as there are several hotels... More
