The taxi driver that drove us here purchased as a discounted ticket which included the bus trip to the entrance of the boat ramp. I feel 100 RMB is steep for a man-made lake. If you are not exhausted from the nearby attractions don't bother paying more for the bus. If you visited Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon the boat ride will feel and look very similar to that boat ride unless you can understand the Chinese history behind it (the boat ride only provides Chinese).

At the time of the visit it was a rather cold and misty day - and to be frank this actually made the experience even more magical. We took a boat ride that was amazing - so well managed and fitted into the area very tastefully

We drove past the Xianren Stream and it looked amazing in the emerald green color. Though we didn't see too many tourist at the time we went there but the lake looked gorgeous. You can't miss is as you go up and down the avatar mountains.

The boat trip really worth while. A slow boat ride enjoying the view of the nature with mountain, forest, clear water. Certain of the mountain looks like animal and of course with certain imagination.

I would be very regretful if I didn't pay a visit to Xianren Stream when I paid a visit to Zhangjiajie in March.
I never this place was so beautiful and peaceful, I just joined an activity held by Zhangjiajie Backpacking Club,all of us went to Xianren Stream for outside barbecue.
It was not easy to go to Xianren Stream, fristly, our driver and guide took us to a parking place which was near to the Xianren Stream Dam, everybody had to get off the bus for there was no road to the Xianren Stream.
Our guide Betty told me that Xianren Stream Dam was bulid for irrigation, there were two ways to go to the inside of this stream, one was hiking,about 1.5 hours;second was taking a boat,only 20 minutes, and I chose the later one.
It was really a paradise for barbecue, there were a lot of local people inhabited along the stream, you could rent barbecue equipments and buy food from the local people, luckily, our club arranged everything for us, what's more, Betty was experienced to do the barbecue,nice!
After hard working , everyone begun to enjoy the delicious food, with sunshine,friendship and a cup of beer, you couldn't express how wonderful it was!
