Very beautiful area, surrounded by the rock formations. We actually walked down to ten mile gallery, from Tianzi Mountain. The path down is about 2 hrs worth of steep steps, I imagine going up takes much longer, but there are many viewing platforms. The hike itself doesn't have many vendors selling water or food so bring your own. At the bottom, you can take the little train to the bus stop (38rmb one way), or walk on the parallel, flat path. If you come from. the bottom, I'd recommend hiking up for about 1hr, you'll get to see a few of the viewing areas.

10 miles Gallery is located in the Suoxiyu Scenic Area, and it stretches for more than 10 miles long valley.
We took a short "touristy sightseeing" train ride to view the natural landscapes and mountains.
The natural rocks formed on the mountains represent various objects and people to your wildest imaginations as depicted in the visitor brochure and audio introduction in the train ride.

This was a beautiful area and we loved the opportunity to rest a little while taking the little train which wasn't expensive. There are some snack/souvenier shops. Toilets not the best in this area.

It was a small train for 2-3 miles. 10 miles is just a name.
You can see surrounding by travelling by the train, but if you want you can walk along with the path.

Again, weather is key here. We arrived after some drizzle/rain, so there are clouds floating amidst the rock formations which add to the mystical beauty of the place. If time allows, should at least take a walk on the path instead of taking the train both ways. It is a place with "living" Chinese paintings. Stop by to breathe the fresh air and enjoy the scenic view. We were lucky there was no queue.

It should be the imagination into these rocks formations through times. Call it whatever but that is what the tour guide will be telling you. there are only two wild monkeys kept in a cage & they don't look any different from the rest. Souvenir shops line the visiting sight & if you are not gamesome walking along the board walks, take a slow cartoon train ride up & down. We bought imitation jewellery from here & yet were inform that the prices of such are expensive.

The Ten Mile Natural Gallery in Suoxi Valley is a five kilometer stretch of views from the bottom part of the park, while not as impressive from the top, is still scenic. A monorail runs to the bus stop for about a two kilometer stretch which is hardly worth the 50 yuan price as the pathway is parallel to the tracks.

Do not take take the trolley train. You will see nothing. Walk. or at least walk one way. There are a lot of photo ops along the way. Only complaint is that the walking path is too close to the tall geological formations making good pictures difficult.

We started off making a trip here firstly. A lady from our hotel told us that we should skip the train as it is not a very long walk. We ended up walking back and forth. It has a breathtaking view of the mountains. We were lucky with the weather. At least it was clear. We came late November so not a lot of people. Most other tourist were Chinese of Korean tour groups.

Definately worth a visit. If you have bad luck you´ll see not so much when the clouds are deep. We had an amazing view.
