This is not a bad little wall in Xiangyang but please do not get excited from many of the pictures and explanations in other reviews. Some people have reviewed Xi'an city wall and put pictures from there in their review so pay attention.
This is nothing like Xi'an wall, it is just a small-ish Ming Dynasty city wall in a small city of Hubei province. Nice but nothing to get excited about.

Don’t expect that much. I was in this city visiting a friend and wouldn’t go here just to see it. But if you are already there it is nice to walk around.

An ancient majestic wall overlooking the Han river, it currently encloses a walking street and could thus be crowded during holidays. One of my favorite places to be in Xiangyang.

This huge, high wall surrounds the old city of Xian. It is tapered stone with mortar joints that forms a large rectangle around the city. It can be accessed through an underground tunnel and there is an admission charge. The best views of the wall are had by the pedestrians. The roadway on top could accomodate two lanes of traffic. For the faint hearted, they offer electro cart transportation to circumnavigate the 16 kilometers. The top of the wall is illuminated at night so this could be a romantic ride. A must for all visitors to admire.

This is one of the important landmarks in Xian city which visitors would encounter first. The wall was built in the 14th century by Ming dynasty emperor. The wall is surrounding old city dividing city in inner & outer part and is in a large square area. The city wall is tall & thick and city has nicely developed along the wall. North & south gates are main entrances to the city and there are other gates also. There are watchtowers located on each of the four corners of the wall.

This is a beautiful ancient city. It's historical significance during the 3 kingdoms period is solid. The shops are very nice full of authentic Chinese items.

After having been to the Great Wall and Beijing visiting this city on the Han river feels like one has stepped back 2,000 years.

I have been here several times in the past but this was the first time I was able to spend several hours there during the day. The main gate, closest to the river, is completely restored and is well maintained. There is a small fee to walk to the top of the wall at this portion of the wall. It is well worth it for the views and the cool breeze.

You can walk along a good part of the wall in both directions. Not all of the wall is in as good repair but I saw no place that was dangerous to walk along.

The ancient wall surrounding Xi'an is one of the few remaining that still encompasses the entire city. Climb up and you will find the view not only delightful, but you will quickly gain a better appreciation for the contrast between ancient China and modern China.

The newer glass and metal highrise apartments now cast a shadow on this magnificent structure of stone. Here you can walk, ride bikes or hire a rickshaw driver to explore the entire city in about an hours ride.

This is a must see attraction that you can do after a morning visiting the famous Terracotta Warriors. Also come back at night as the city has surrounded the top in lights.

Perfect way to begin or end your day in Xi'an - TravelingU
